In a recent development that has stirred attention, Madam Cecelia Williams, the mother of the late actress Suzzy Williams, has levied fresh claims against certain actresses.
Madam Williams alleged that Kalsoume Sinare and Nadia owe her money from her daughter’s funeral expenses.
Her emotional plea took a somber turn as she implored Nana Ama McBrown for financial support to cover her rent.
Madam Cecelia Williams made a heartfelt appeal to Nana Ama McBrown during a radio interview, sharing her struggles since her daughter’s tragic demise in a car accident back in 2005.
She claimed that some actresses had received $1000 (GH¢11,204.34) from her daughter’s funeral but had not fulfilled their financial obligations.
Expressing her dire circumstances, Suzzy Williams’ mother beseeched Nana Ama McBrown to assist her in preventing homelessness.
“Sweet Nana Ama McBrown, I know you have started something. Please continue. And God will bless you, amen. I’ve been telling people about the little you have done. You have already promised that you will do more. So please, the time is up.
The landlord is on my neck. And I have no place to lay my head. The only place is Suzzy’s grave. Maybe from there, I will get somebody. So please, your promise.”
The interview garnered mixed reactions from the public. While some expressed sympathy and support for Suzzy Williams’ mother, others questioned the appropriateness of Nana Ama McBrown being responsible for her rent.
@ExhibitingMummysRecipes touched by the situation, wrote, “I started crying when the woman said, ‘the only place to lay my head is Suzzy’s grave.'”
@phinamusic5952 reflected on Nana Ama McBrown’s kindness, stating, “Thank God Suzzy’s mom has finally mentioned that Nana Ama is rather being good to her. God is in control.”
