Tragically, a cab driver who was thirty-one years old was slain while trying to stop some persons from attacking someone else.
Afrifa Foster has been recognised as the cab driver.
The sad event happened in the Ashanti Region’s Afigya Kwabre North District at Akom, a suburb.

The unidentified gang members are accused of stabbing Afrifa Foster in the neck at around 3:30 a.m. on Monday, April 22, 2024.
Agya Oteng recounted the story on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, stating that the driver had come back to the location to retrieve a few passengers he had dropped off on Saturday night.
He was hired by the aforementioned passengers to drop them off at the F2 Hotel and Restaurant, where an event was taking place.
He stated going back and getting them again after the event in accordance with the arrangement he made with them.
Foster went back to the hotel to pick them up, but while he waited for his passengers, he noticed a fellow rider known as a “pragya” and struck up a discussion with him.
Foster witnessed a group of eight males abusing another person as they were speaking.
When he approached them, he questioned why the victim was being attacked by eight of them.
One of them, enraged by the inquiry, asked him if he wanted to know the reason behind their abuse of the victim. The eight men charged at Foster in the blink of an eye, allegedly beating him with sticks and chains. Subsequently, he was stabbed in the neck. Agya Oteng continued, “They fled the scene and turned around on him.
He claimed that when some locals hurried Foster to St. Paul’s Hospital, he passed away there.
It was also disclosed that the person who was allegedly chasing after the fiancee of one of the perpetrators was the victim of the event in which Foster interfered.
But he told them the female in question couldn’t have dated her because she was her cousin.
But the attackers did not think he was telling the truth, and they attacked him.
One suspect in relation to the incident has now been taken into custody by the police, and he is helping them with their investigation.
