Thomas Partey enstooled as Chief in Manya Krobo [See Photos]

Townflex Sports News – Ghanaian professional footballer and Arsenal FC star, Thomas Partey has been installed as a chief at Manya Krobo, in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

Krobo Odumase is a town and capital of Lower Manya Krobo Municipal District in the Eastern Region of Ghana and the birthplace of Partey.

The Ghana Black Stars player who is born with his legal name Thomas Teye Partey was honored by his hometown, Manya Krobo with the title of “Mahefalor”.

The ceremony of his installment took place on Friday, June 3rd, 2022, the title of “Mahefalor”, which translates as the ‘defender of the Krobo Traditional Area by Nene Sakite II.

The enstooling ceremony happened at the residence of the Chief of the Krobo Municipal District, Nene Sakite II

According to Chief of the Krobo Municipal District, Nene Sakite II, Partey should be a source of inspiration to children in the area by looking at the result of his hard work and perseverance and discipline so they know that humility is the key to unlock talent and potential.

The Arsenal midfielder is also being honoured for his goal that qualified Ghana Black Stars to the Qatar FiFa World Cup 2022, also for his football exploits as well as his Thomas Partey Foundation which he founded back in 2021.

The Foundation aims to “create opportunities and hope for talented and less privileged youngsters” in the two areas where Partey grew up, Odumase Krobo and Ashaiman.
