During a ranting conversation with Elon Musk on X Spaces, former President Donald Trump launched at Joe Biden’s mental and physical qualities.
The event, which was initially delayed by technical difficulties on Monday, saw Trump blast his former opponent with some of his most difficult remarks yet, replicating comments from his campaign rallies following Biden’s withdrawal from the presidential race.
Trump zeroed in on Biden’s recent visit to his Rehoboth Beach home, where the president spent time with his wife, Jill, and granddaughter, Naomi, and took a bike ride. “Now Biden’s, you know, close to vegetable stage, in my opinion. Okay?” Trump said, questioning Biden’s physical fitness.
“I looked at him today on the beach, and I said, Why would anybody allow him? The guy could barely walk. Why would anybody allow him?” Trump continued.

He didn’t stop there, referencing a video of Biden struggling with a lightweight beach chair. “And it’s, it’s ridiculous, I mean, and he’s been doing that for a long time, you know, you can’t lift the chair. The chair weighs about three ounces. It’s meant for children and old people to lift, and he can’t lift it. The whole thing is crazy.” Trump added.
Elon Musk did not hold back from sharing his thoughts, notably about Vice President Kamala Harris. He highlighted her absence from media appearances following Biden’s endorsement. “We cannot have her. She’s incompetent… She hasn’t done an interview since his whole scam started,” Musk added.
Trump also questioned Biden’s intelligence, particularly on the continuing crisis between Russia and Ukraine. “This president [has] a low IQ, very low IQ. He had a low IQ 30 years ago, by the way, but now he might not even have a IQ at all,” Trump claimed.
He blasted Biden’s attitude on Ukraine potentially joining NATO, alleging it incited Vladimir Putin.
“You know, Biden did something with Russia. There was no chance of him ever going in. And when I left, and then, then after I left, they started forming big armies on their on the border with Ukraine, right? And I looked at that, and I thought he was doing that because Putin’s a good negotiator. I thought he was doing that to negotiate,” Trump said.
In response to Trump’s remarks, the White House insisted that Biden did not resign owing to age-related concerns. They defended his capacity to govern effectively, notwithstanding the criticism.
The exchange on X Spaces elicited strong emotions, adding to the existing political debate over Biden’s presidency and the forthcoming election. Trump’s constant criticisms highlight profound political fissures as both parties prepare for the next election.
