Award-winning Ghanaian songstress, Wendy Shay has vowed to always stay natural with her hair as she says she will never put on wigs again.
The Habibi singer, who is now wearing dreadlocks on her head, says she would keep the locks because she likes the fact that it gives her a natural taste and makes her feel free, and that is something she is not ready to trade for anything else.
Wendy Shay made these promises during a recent interview on BRYTE EXTRA, a BRYTE TV televised conversation hosted by MC Yaa Yeboah on Thursday, (January 5, 2023).
“For now I think am going to go with the dread. I want to look natural, I want to embrace my naturalness, so it’s going to be dreadlocks. I don’t see myself wearing wigs. I will never wear them again” she said.
The songstress who is eyeing the Grammys also talked about her music, starting off, the struggles/difficulties she has encountered and also what influenced the switch in the style of music
