Will Smith has finally apologised to his colleague, Chris Rock after slapping him at the Osars on Sunday Night.
It would be recalled that Will gave Chris a hot slap in the face on Sunday night March 27, 2022, Oscars after he passed a joke of Jada, Will’s wife which did not do well with Smith.
Chris took a shot at Jada’s hair loss which is a result of a medical condition, a hair-loss condition described by doctors as alopecia.

Will Smith was and is still in the trends, making headlines online causing a mixed reaction among internet users as some lauded him for his bold steps taken to protect his lover, whiles others also bashed him for his action.

Will has finally taken to his official and verified Instagram account where he made a post apologising for his actions saying his behaviour at the Academy Awards last night was unacceptable and inexcusable.
According to him giving a bit of a reason why he did what he did said in his post that jokes at his expense are part of his job but a joke targeting his wife, Jada’s medical condition was too much for him to consider as a joke leading to him reacting emotionally.

“Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.
“I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness.
“I would also like to apologize to the Academy, the producers of the show, all the attendees and everyone watching around the world. I would like to apologize to the Williams Family and my King Richard Family. I deeply regret that my behavior has stained what has been an otherwise gorgeous journey for all of us.
