A female lawyer has accused a married father-of-four of raping her while more than 1,000 people watched via a livestream.
The woman, 31, claims she met the man, identified as Tim B due to German privacy laws, on a dating app in May 2022.
According to reports, the two arranged to meet at a hotel in Mitte, Berlin. Tim, who works for the armed forces, had initially agreed to use a condom, but the woman alleges the situation took a disturbing turn.
She claims that what began as consensual sex quickly became non-consensual when Tim removed the condom against her wishes.
She further alleges that he then proceeded to livestream the assault, with approximately 1,000 online viewers watching the act unfold.
Tim, 46, denied the rape allegations, asserting that their encounter was consensual and part of an arrangement he and his wife had on a shared sexual profile.

He claimed the woman agreed to the livestream, but that after some time, she wanted to stop. Tim also stated he offered her a train ticket to leave when she expressed a desire to go home.
Despite his defense, prosecutors have raised concerns about the potential harm to the woman’s reputation from the livestreamed footage.
They emphasize that around 1,000 people had access to the video, which could cause lasting damage.
