The actress opened up about her personal experience of terminating a pregnancy involving Sarkodie in her memoir, “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson.” She has since expressed sorrow on multiple occasions.
She is now encouraging young ladies to accept their pregnancies regardless of their circumstances by leveraging her platform.

In reaction to an online story on X by YEN.com.gh, Yvonne Nelson made her position clear by writing, “Jackline Mensah: TikToker sparks pregnancy rumours after posting new video showing big belly.”
Yvonne wrote, “Happy she kept the baby and proud of her (love emoji)” under the post. DISCLOSE ABORTION. Many responses have been generated by Yvonne’s comment among her X followers.
While some of her fans applauded her advocacy work, others conjectured that it might be a calculated ploy to promote her next film, “Tripping,” which stars Jackline and will have its debut at Silverbird Cinemas this Easter.
