2026 World Cup Qualifiers: Otto Addo assures we won’t relax against Central African Republic

Before Ghana’s next 2026 World Cup qualifying encounter against the Central African Republic (CAR), coach Otto Addo has given his players a stern warning.

On the fourth matchday of the qualifying series, Ghana will take on CAR at Baba Yara Stadium on Monday, June 10.

Addo stresses the significance of retaining concentration and energy despite their recent 2-1 victory over Mali, which gave them six points from three games and put them third in Group I after Madagascar and Comoros.

Addo’s word of warning, which emphasises the enormous challenge that faces CAR, is in line with Mohammed Kudus’s thoughts.

“It will undoubtedly be an extremely challenging game. It’s a pretty tough game, so for everyone who believes it will be simple, we hope it works out that way,” he told the media on Sunday.

The former head coach of Borussia Dortmund continued, “We can’t relax now.” Kickoff is set for 19:00 GMT. Under Addo’s direction, who took the Black Stars to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Ghana hopes to qualify for the FIFA World Cup for the sixth time.
