After a brief illness, Patrick Kwesi Brako Kumor, the former Municipal Chief Executive Officer (MCE) of Weija-Gbawe in the Greater Accra region, has reportedly passed away.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo recently annulled the appointments of 25 MCEs, including Kumor.

Michael Danquah succeeded him in his role.

Kumor started a lot of projects in the Weija-Gbawe Municipality while serving as MCE. He received the UCIA 2022 Dynamic Achievers Award for Excellence in Leadership in December 2022 as a result of his leadership.

The Global Executive College (GEC) gave him the honour at the British Council Hall.

The community has been deeply grieving since learning of Kumor’s passing.

He was well-known for his commitment to the Weija-Gbawe Municipality’s growth and his initiatives to enhance the quality of life for its citizens.

Friends and loved ones are using social media to express condolence messages to Kumor’s family, although the circumstances surrounding his death are unknown. The passing of a leader who made a big impact on the area is mourned by the community.
