A lot of concerned Ghanaian citizens have hijacked the IMF International Monetary Fund’s online portal over Akufo-Addo’s decision to run to them for a bailout.

The republic of Ghana ruled by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been going through a lot for some time now in terms of finance as the country is in a difficult economic hardship.

The president, Akufo-Addo has announced few days ago that he has engaged with the leaders of the IMF to discuss a bailout term for Ghana by giving his finance minister Ken Ofori-Atta the mandate to proceed with IMF. This step according to him is to help improve Ghana’s economic state.

Well, Ghanaians think otherwise and the majority are not in support with his decision of running to the IMG for loan as they describe himself and his government as incompetent and his team as mismanagers of the country’s funds.

Ghanaians of Social media especially on Facebook has taken over the official Facebook page of the IMF flooding the comment sections of all their posts with their humble request concerning Ghana’s bailout request.

With the plea from Ghanaians, they are calling on the IMF to heed their advise not to loan the country’s leaders any financial supports should they come running to them.

This this humble request is because Ghanaians have come to a conclusion that the leaders in the country are just spending the country’s resources without proper accountability.
