Highlife Legend AB Crentsil Is Dead

Another sad new hits the Ghanaian music industry as new reaching Towflex.com has it that the Music Fraternity has lost one of its legendary acts, AB Crentsil.

According to reports, AB Crenstil died in the early hours of Wednesday, July 13th, 2022.

The news of his death was confirmed by award-winning Ghanaian Disc Jockey, DJ Bibini.

DJ Bibini made this known to the public via a Twitter post on Wednesday morning.

He posted a photo of the highlife legend and wrote “Rest Well AB Crenstil!”.

AB Crenstil Is Dead: He was born with his legal name Alfred Benjamin “A. B.” Crentsil Jr. Born in 1943 and died in 2022 at age 78. He was one of the “big three” of contemporary Ghanaian vocalists.

Crentsil has won numerous Ghanaian music awards, including the Fontomfrom Evergreen Award, a special honour bestowed upon a musician with 15–20 years of continuous music experience.

As at the time of this publication, it is not yet made available to the public what caused his untimely death, but we at Townflex promise to update this post once we learn of any new update.
