Before he could get his gun out, the female attendant mysteriously disappeared, confusing an armed robber trying to rob a forex bureau.
CCTV footage shows the incident, which happened at the Global Exchange Forex bureau in Anyaa near Sowutuom, in the Ga Central District of the Greater Accra Region.
After posing as a customer and entering the Forex bureau, the bandit attacked the female attendant with a gun.

Amazingly, his body language gave her the impression that something wasn’t quite right.
She made the snap decision to hide, and when the thief brandished his gun, he searched the area but was unable to find the woman.
He put the gun, which he thought was a military weapon, back into his green soldier’s bag, looking bewildered and disappointed.
He quietly left the forex bureau, looking like a regular client who had just made use of their services.
The woman said in a narration that accompanied the video that she had rung the alarm bells to signal for assistance from people nearby while she was hiding.
But because the thief fled so quickly, onlookers were unable to suspect him. He was already out of sight by the time they made the decision to pursue him.
