Bruce Willis was recently seen in Los Angeles, flashing a warm smile in a rare public appearance since news of his health challenges became known.
The Die Hard actor, now 69, looked at ease as he rode through Studio City, with his bodyguard in the driver’s seat. And he looked all cheery as he smiled at passer-by while his bodyguard kept his eyes firmly fixed on the road. He was also spotted last month with his bodyguard during a car ride in Los Angeles.

Bruce, diagnosed with aphasia in 2022 and later with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) in 2023, appeared in good spirits, wearing a black baseball cap, matching jacket, and white T-shirt.
In recent months, Bruce’s health has been a central focus for his family and fans alike. Reports indicate that his dementia has significantly impacted his speech abilities, and he’s now primarily cared for by his loved ones.

His wife, Emma Heming Willis, 45, has taken on the role of his primary caregiver and recently opened up about the emotional challenges of the journey on NBC’s Today show.
“What I’m learning is that dementia is hard. It’s hard on the person diagnosed, and it’s also hard on the family,” she shared, highlighting the profound impact on their two young daughters, Mabel and Evelyn.
Emma and Bruce, who married in 2009, have been transparent about his condition, aiming to bring greater awareness to the realities of dementia.
“The most important thing was for us to be able to say what the disease was, explain what it is,” she said, emphasizing the importance of family support through this challenging time.
