Latest Entertainment News, Nigeria (Townflex) – The Grammy-winning Nigerian artist, Burna Boy, has made a surprising revelation. He disclosed that he turned down a $5 million offer to perform in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The 32-year-old Nigerian singer and songwriter, whose real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu MFR, rejected the lucrative deal because it would have meant not being able to smoke marijuana in Dubai.

In a candid moment, while rehearsing with his band, Outsiders, he freestyled, “Just now I turned down dubai money, 5million dollar na small thing cos me I no dey like to dey go where dem no go gree allow me smoke igbo.” This video has been circulating on social media, particularly on platform X.

Smoking is allowed in places like streets, home, cars, designated hotel rooms, bars and night clubs but not malls, taxis, parks. During Ramadan from dawn to dusk, smoking is prohibited in public places.
