British singer Ed Sheeran recently talked about working with his friend, Nigerian artist Burna Boy. He described Burna Boy as someone who smokes a lot of weed, more than anyone he’s ever seen.
Ed Sheeran, who has won many Grammy awards and is known for his music and songwriting skills, shared this story on the Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend podcast. He explained how smoke from the Nigerian star, Burna Boy took over his studio.
He was surprised by how much Burna Boy smoked, and the studio was filled with the strong smell of weed. Adding that the air was so thick with smoke that it made Ed Sheeran feel a bit disoriented.

Ed Sheeran humorously said that walking into the studio was like entering a different world because of the overwhelming smoke. He couldn’t believe someone could ingest so much smoke.
In his own words, Ed Sheeran said, “There’s an artist that I work quite a lot with called Burna Boy. I would say he is… That’s the most I’ve seen anyone ingest weed.
“He came to the studio and I had a gig late on in the night. And it was very much chilled there [the studio], the door was closed. It was just smokes, smokes, smokes. And I remember walking in there to get a thing. It felt like I was not quite there [laughs].”
