Despite having earlier let up a two-goal lead, Cole Palmer scored twice after the 100-minute mark to complete his hat-trick and give Chelsea an incredible victory over Manchester United.
With a timing of 100 minutes and 39 seconds, the most recent winner in Premier League history surprised United, who had led through nine minutes of injury time, and sent fans wild at Stamford Bridge.
The two late goals completed an exhilarating encounter that began quickly, with Blues skipper Conor Gallagher putting the hosts ahead and showing little signs of weakness.
After Marc Cucurella was fouled by Antony, Palmer extended the lead for the home team in just twenty minutes.
However, Alejandro Garnacho’s brilliant counterattack on Moises Caicedo’s ill-advised cross-field pass set off a United comeback.
Five minutes later, Bruno Fernandes levelled the score for United by heading home a cross from Diogo Dalot.
Garnacho scored his second goal, what United believed to be the winner, when he headed in a superb outside-of-boot cross from Antony past custodian Djordje Petrovic.
That was prior to Chelsea winning all three points in a thrilling match finale.

After Dalot tackled Noni Madueke, the substitute, Palmer calmly intervened to square the scores after 100 minutes.
The stadium erupted into chaotic scenes when Palmer, after winning the ball from a short corner, fired a shot that deflected past United custodian Andre Onana in the 101st minute.
