Coronavirus updates in Ghana, 21 total confirmed cases. And one death recorded in Kumasi

It all started as a rumour yesterday as news started flying saying Ghana Records First Coronavirus Death case, little did we know it was was.

The news was confirmed yesterday Saturday evening by Alex K. Abban who happens to be the Deputy Health Minister in an interview granted on TV3.

The president of the republic of Ghana also confirmed that indeed Ghana Records First Coronavirus Death in his third Address To The Nation speech yesterday evening.

According to reports gathered by Townflex, the deceased is a male, a Lebanese man based in Kumasi aged 61 years, and he died at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in the Ashanti regional capital.

Hmm, the Lebanese man whose name is unclear to us reported to a health facility as he felt unwell with a fever with a temperature of 39.4 ℃ and a cough was confirmed as a carrier of the virus on March 19, 2020, and tested positive for COVID-19.

Ghana has as at yesterday night, Saturday recorded 21 cases with one death now leaving the total of 20 currently active and confirmed case. We’re just praying it gets better soon.
