The former Ashanti Regional Minister of the Jerry John Rawlings-led administration, Samuel Nuamah Donkor, is said to have passed away at the age of 64 years old.

According to the reports gathered by Townflex media, Mr. Nuamah passed away suddenly while obtaining medical care in London.

The late politician served as the 4th Republic of Ghana’s first parliament’s New Juaben North Constituency representative and was also the ministry’s health minister.

Following the sad news, several dignitries and protocols of the country have taken to social media to express their sincere condolences.

As it stands now, the cause of the former minister’s death is yet to be disclosed by his close relations.

About Hon. Samuel Nuamah Donkor

Samuel Nuamah Donkor was a politician and social worker from Ghana. The former politician was born on September 5, 1958.

He served as the Minister of Health, the Minister for the Ashanti Region, and a representative for the National Convention Party in the New Juaben North constituency in the first parliament of the fourth republic of Ghana (NCP).

Deputy regional coordinator for Peoples Defence Committees and Workers Defence Committees, were also positions he held during the JJ Rawlings era.
