Houston Man Found Sleeping on Couch After Allegedly Killing Sister and Niece

A Houston man was arrested early Friday morning after allegedly stabbing his sister and her 2-year-old daughter to death.

Kendrick Rayvon Fisher, 29, is facing capital murder charges after the bodies of the victims, a 28-year-old woman and her child, were found in their apartment.

Houston police were called to the scene, located on Richmond near Shadowbriar, when someone flagged them down, saying a woman and her child were being held hostage.

When officers entered the apartment, they found Fisher asleep on the couch. A search of the apartment revealed the tragic scene—both the mother and her young daughter were dead, having suffered multiple stab wounds.

Fisher, who appeared to have injuries consistent with a physical struggle, also had blood on his clothes.

He was arrested and questioned by detectives before being charged with capital murder. He is currently being held in the Harris County Jail.

The woman and Fisher were siblings, and the toddler was his niece. Police are still investigating the motive behind this brutal attack, which has shocked the community.
