This time around, his target was the personality of Ghana’s current president. On his daily morning show on February 4, Captain Smart called President Akufo Addo a “crooked leader.”

The outspoken media personality elaborated that the president is someone who can’t fight corruption in the country.

And the reason for this, according to Captain Smart, is as a result of his temperament.

Despite endorsing President Akufo-Addo for president in 2016, the Onua TV host, who was one of the organizers of the #FixTheCountry protests, voiced displeasure in him.

“I told you, your excellency.  You can’t fight corruption because you are it,” he said

” I dare you to say: I, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, am not corrupt,” he commanded.

“I have never received a bribe and won’t do so till I die,” he added.

Captain Smart stated that he will continue to expose government corruption and advocate for a better Ghana.

He has already accused the President and his appointees of malfeasance.
