Fast-rising Ghanaian Afropop singer, Mock Sin has declared boldly that he will set a new record by becoming the first artiste to grab a major Grammy Award win for Ghana.
The hardworking singer made this know in a recent chat with Townflex.com when asked about his opinion regarding the Grammy saga making trends in Ghana.
Recall that just recently, Nigeria’s Burna Boy was crowned the winner of the winner for the ‘Best Global Music Album’ category in the just ended 2021 Grammy Awards with his “TWICE AS TALL” Album, while his colleague, another Nigerian star, Wizkid, also won alongside American singer Beyonce with their ‘Brown Skin Girl” song.
This win for Nigeria has gotten Ghanaians talking with some fans describing some of our Ghanaian acts as lazy and not working harder enough.

Mock Sin speaking on the issue of Ghanaian acts not winning Grammy awards stated that he is ready to grab a major Grammy award win for Ghana which will break the record set by Fuse ODG and Stonebwoy who has also won Grammy for the country.
UK-based Ghanaian Singer, Fuse ODG set the record as the first-ever Ghanaian musician to win a Grammy Award three (3) years ago, he won the award for cowriting Ed Sheeran’s ‘Divide’ album which won ‘Best Pop Vocal Album‘ at the 2018 Grammy. Followed by Stonebwoy’s win for his collaboration in the Grammy-nominated album ‘Avrakedebra’ by Morgan Heritage.
The “I Win Record” in collaboration with “Judgement Media” signed singer said he will soon break record to be the first Ghanaian musician to win big at Grammys for Ghana, he has released some tunes which are doing well on various streaming platforms.
He also asked for the support of Ghanaian music lovers to be able to achieve his dream by pushing his craft to be heard even louder and break boundaries.
