Mahama addresses the incident of three deaths in Bawku

John Dramani Mahama, the former president, has commented on the sad event that occurred in Bawku and claimed the lives of three people.

Concerns have been raised by the tragedy, and a full inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the fatalities is being called for.

The former president released a statement in which he asked for prompt action to ascertain the incident’s facts and offered his sincere sympathies to the families of the victims.

“I am deeply saddened and disturbed by recent developments in the Bawku municipality and the killing of three men, as confirmed by soldiers from the Ghana Armed Forces”

“My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims during this difficult time, even as I call upon the people of Bawku to endeavor to promote and consolidate peace to enable the positive development of the municipality of Bawku”

Concerns regarding the security situation in Bawku have been aroused by the terrible event, which has also prompted calls for swift action to deal with the aftermath.
