In a candid and revealing conversation with journalist Serwah Amihere during an X space discussion, Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM1, the flamboyant owner of the now-defunct Menzgold Ghana Limited, laid bare the extent of his personal losses due to the demise of his company.
With a solemn tone, NAM1 admitted, “If you want to crown the biggest loser in all of this thing, I am the one, because I lost everything: I lost all my properties and I don’t even have a car of my own in this country.”
His statement highlighted the magnitude of the financial toll the Menzgold collapse had taken on him.

However, NAM1 is not going down without a fight. In a move to address the outstanding debts owed to the numerous customers of Menzgold, he has enlisted the help of a digital marketing company, Payboy Company Limited.

Based in Accra, Payboy is tasked with negotiating and facilitating debt settlements with Menzgold’s unpaid clients.
The gold collectible firm, Menzgold, had previously claimed to have fulfilled its financial obligations to over 5000 customers.
This claim was later questioned when NAM1 backtracked on the verification fee and stated that more than 5000 people had indeed been paid.
Payboy, the chosen third-party entity, specializes in digital payment solutions and has already brokered several debt settlement agreements between Menzgold and its clients.

The saga continues as NAM1’s efforts to resolve the financial aftermath of Menzgold’s collapse unfold.
