A heart-wrenching incident unfolded in Collingwood Road, Sutton, as a house fire claimed the lives of four young children on December 16, 2021.
The victims, two sets of twin brothers – Leyton and Logan Hoath, aged three, and Kyson and Bryson Hoath, aged four, tragically lost their lives when a fire engulfed their home.
Deveca Rose, the mother of the four children, now faces the weight of manslaughter charges and accusations of child abandonment.

The 29-year-old is scheduled to appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Monday, December 11.
Emergency services responded to the terraced house at around 7 pm, but despite their diligent efforts, the four children were pronounced dead after being rushed to the hospital.

Dalton Hoath, the father, expressed profound grief, describing his sons as bright, caring, and lovable boys.
In a statement given to Mail Online, Dalton said, “Myself and my family are utterly devastated by this tragic loss. They were sons, brothers, grandsons, great-grandsons, nephews, and cousins.”
The paternal grandfather, Jason Hoath, shared his devastation on Facebook, emphasizing that the children were taken too soon.
The Metropolitan Police, recognizing the impact on the local community, assured ongoing support for the complex investigation involving partner agencies such as the Crown Prosecution Service and London Fire Brigade.
The community has come together to mourn the loss, with authorities urging the public to refrain from sharing information online that could prejudice future court proceedings.
