The National Cathedral will encompass three main areas: A Cathedral, The Biblical Museum of Africa, and The Biblical Gardens of Africa.

The Cathedral boasts a 5,000-seat auditorium, expandable to 15,000 seats, as well as several other facilities, while the museum and gardens focus on the Bible’s role in African history.
President Akufo-Addo initiated this project as a non-denominational worship space and an expression of gratitude to God for his 2016 electoral victory.
However, the project has faced scrutiny regarding its funding and priorities, as some have raised concerns over its impact on other critical development projects.
