Real Madrid first team players tested negative after being hit by covid 19

Spanish La Liga leaders Real Madrid now have good news after a difficult couple of weeks for the pitch.

According to report on Thursday, four players of the first team at the Santiago Bernabeu had tested positive for covid-19 have recovered and tested negative.

Rodrygo, Gareth Bale, David Alaba and coach Davide Ancelotti.

Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti will now have more player at his disposal to choose from when Madrid face Getafe in the New Year.

Los Blancos now have more players in Getafe game than they had when they travelled to the Basque Country to face Athletic Club on Wednesday night.

Luka Modric and Marcelo have also tested negative for covid-19 and have both fully recovered from the effects of the virus.

The covid-19 outbreak has been a rare nightmare in a superb start to the season for Madrid.

2021 ends with Real Madrid being top of La Liga, Second place Sevilla trailing Madrid with eight points.

The Spanish giants  will return to action after Christmas as they  determined to complete this season in style and reclaim the league title.
