Ronaldinho picks favourite EPL team – “It is hard to choose just one team”

Brazil and Barcelona legend Ronaldinho admits that EPL has great teams, great player and very difficult to choose but picked one team which he enjoys watching more than others.

The 42 year old Brazilian  legend never played in the English top flight during his playing days, however, he has no particular allegiance to any Premier League club but watches English football from afar.

The former Ballon d’Or winner has declared EPL runners up Liverpool as his favourite team because he really likes watching their attackers in full flow.

The Legendary player who enjoyed trophy-laden spells at Barcelona and AC Milan admits it is difficult to pick one of the 20 teams as his preferred outfit as they each have at least one “great player” whom he enjoys watching.

It’s hard [to choose just one team], there are many. I really like a lot of players from many clubs,” Ronaldinho said.

It is hard to choose just one. I think each club has a great player that I like watching, but I think the attacking players for Liverpool are the players that I currently really like watching.”

Ronaldinho may also have a soft spot for the Reds as they have a strong core of Brazilian players, with Alisson, Fabinho and Roberto Firmino.

Ronaldinho told French outlet RMC Sport ahead of the final in Paris, which the Reds went on to lose 1-0.

The former playmaker spent five seasons with Barcelona winning two La Liga titles and the Champions League between 2003 and 2008.

Ronaldinho scored 299 goals for club and country, winning the Copa Libertadores with Atletico Mineiro in 2013 and the Copa America with Brazil.

The Brazilian Legend latter retired after a brief spell with Fluminense in 2015.

The legendary player has signed a deal to serve as an ambassador for Barcelona so his preference for Liverpool over his former El Clasico rivals did not come as a surprise ahead of Champions League final against Real Madrid in May.

Two great teams. They have very good players. I wish them the best. Real Madrid are very good. But, as I really like Barca, I’m with Liverpool“.
