In Saudi Arabia, Cristiano Ronaldo is beginning to gain recognition after scoring quadruple.

Although his first two professional matches did not live up to expectations, the Portuguese striker has sparked excitement with his entry into Asian football.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner joined Al Nassr in December, reportedly earning £177 million annually.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored four goals in Saudi Pro League to surpass the milestone of 500 league goals for his career as Al Nassr defeated Al Wehda 4-0.

He did not, however, have the most successful start with his new employers, scoring just one goal from the penalty spot in his first three competitive games.

The Portuguese scored his first goal after receiving possession of the ball within the penalty area, took a few steps before beating the goalkeeper of the opposition with a left-footed effort.

Ronaldo then added a second just before the break.

Four goals for Ronaldo against Al Wehda

The third goal came from a penalty spot, and the fourth came through a goalkeeping error.

Ronaldo’s four goals helped Al Nassr reclaim the top spot in the standings with a game remaining and a goal differential advantage over Al Shabab in second place.

In response, Ronaldo said via his Twitter account: “Great feeling to have scored 4 goals and reached my 500th league goal in a very solid win by the team!”

The Portuguese captain, who turned 38 on Sunday, has scored 503 league goals for five different clubs in five different leagues.

Ronaldo 503 league goals for five different teams including 311 for Real Madrid, 103 across two stints with Manchester United, 81 for Juventus, three for Sporting, and now five for Al-Nassr.

His record in Saudi Arabia currently stands atfive goals in three league games, only eight goals behind the Saudi league’s current leading scorer.
