Singer Wendy Shay has taken to social media to refute accusations that she is connected to billionaire Henry Fitz. Fitz has gained notoriety for his purported role in a viral bedroom video with Serwaa Amihere, a well-known Ghone TV news anchor and presenter.
Fitz, who signed to RuffTown Records, took to social media to strongly refute rumours that he had affairs with other female celebrities, including Wendy Shay, and to voice her displeasure.
The “Uber Driver” singer threatened to retaliate against the bloggers who had linked her to Fitz in a post on X.

“Whoever is behind GH Page is an id!ot. How can you tag me along with this Fuckery lingilingi guy. Journalism has become cheap in this country. Just wait for what is coming. GHANA WAKE UP,” she wrote.
During a live broadcast, she reiterated her innocence and declared her plan to take legal action against bloggers who disseminated false information.
The 28-year-old musician highlighted the ridiculousness of the claims and the current state of journalism’s lack of credibility.
Wendy Shay has taken a stance against the spread of unfounded rumours because she believes that the attempt to link her with Fitz is indicative of a slide in journalistic ethics.
Wendy stated that despite the issue, she is unwavering in her resolve to protect her name and bring those guilty for disseminating false information to justice.
