The family of the National Chief Imam has announced the passing of Hajia Ramatu Sharubutu, the wife of Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, in the early hours of March 27, 2024.
As per Islamic customs, the Chief Imam’s residence would host a Janazah prayer and burial at 2:00 pm, as stated by his spokesperson, Sheikh Armiyawo Shaibu.

Through a Facebook post, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia sent his sympathies to the Chief Imam and the Muslim community in Ghana as a whole.
