A Plus criticizes Akufo-Addo: ‘You’ve disappointed even your enemies

Kwame Asare Obeng, better known by his stage name A Plus, is a former musician who is now a political activist. He has taken aim at President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo over the country’s frequent power shortages.

A Plus shared a 2012 tweet on his Facebook page in which Akufo-Addo, the opposition leader at the time, criticised the ruling administration for power disruptions.

He brought up Akufo-Addo’s previous position on frequent power outages and contrasted it with the problems the country is currently suffering.

He stressed in his Facebook post that the president has not lived up to the expectations placed on him as a leader, especially when it comes to resolving the nation’s ongoing power shortages.

“You shared this in 2012, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. Consider the current situation and give it a name: even your adversaries, who predicted you would fail as president, have been let down by you. They had no idea you would be this bad! he stated.
