It would be recalled that on Thursday, january 18, 2021, The Black Stars of Ghana were trashed out of the just ended Afcon 21 tournament after a shocking defeat by Comoros.

Ghana lost 3-2 to Comoros in the just ended tournament which took a lot of fans in Africa as a shock that a four-time winner of AFCON couldn’t make it out of group stages to the next round of 16 , and hence getting defeated by a country who is playing in the tournament for its very first time.

Per our checks, this happens to be the first time in in 18 years (since 2006) the Black Stars of Ghana have failed to qualify and move on to the next stage in the AFCON tournament.

Well, let’s just wait and see what happens next as the Black Stars Of Ghana prepares to host the Super Egles of Nigeria in March for the final round of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
