A 60-year-old man who was called before the Andoe Traditional Council in the Central Region for incest has brought offerings for ceremonial purification.
Opanyin Kwame Atta, also known as Showboy, the guy, who was brought before the traditional authorities, confessed to the abomination.
The boyfriend of his 27-year-old daughter was one of the young guys that Showboy had reported to the town chiefs for falsely accusing him of having affairs with his daughters.

When the case was brought before the chief’s palace, the young men, however, were unable to back up their claims.
Due to this, the traditional council found the young men guilty and assessed them a GH2,400 fine.
Consequently, Showboy and his family suffered from various unexplained illnesses after the young men paid the punishment.
To that effect, Showboy was called before the Andoe Traditional Council and allegedly admitted to having relationships with three of his nine daughters.
After finding the 60-year-old man guilty of incest, Nana Atta Banafoe, the Chief of Andoe, fined him GH12,000 and further ordered him to produce some lambs for pacification and sacrifice.
A report from credible sources claims that Showboy has delivered four rather than the expected five lambs.
In addition, he said that due to a lack of cash, he was only able to raise 8000 GHC out of the 12,000 GHC the chief requested.
Two distinct rites would be carried out for cleansing, according to Nana Atta Banafo III, the area’s chief, who was speaking to the media.
He stated that a subsequent ritual will be carried out to purify the family in order to stop any further tragedies from happening to the same people.
