Nicki Minaj, her husband, and their son have all made investments in an opulent new house to ring in the new year.

According to TMZ, the rapper known as Pinkprint bought a substantial 12,000-square-foot, 8-bedroom property in the Hidden Hills for $19.5 million.

The new home comes with a detached guesthouse, cabana, saltwater pool, and Baja shelf. Nicki turned 40 on December 8, thus the new mansion was given to her as a belated birthday gift.

Unfortunately, some online trolls who used nasty hashtags like #Shes40 and #FatandForty at precisely midnight partly ruined her birthday celebrations.

Whatever the case, Nicki has much to be happy about this year.

Her upcoming fifth album is apparently in the works, and she recently told City Girls rapper JT that it will return her to her roots as a hungry, underground MC on the rise.

Moreover, she added that her current situation is excellent and allows her creativity to flourish.

Before making a hint, Nicki mentioned that now would be the ideal time for her to release new music.
