Bernard Antwi Bosiako, widely known as Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has emphatically asserted that Ghana is making substantial progress under the leadership of the NPP administration, led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
In a recent interview on Asempa FM on December 7, 2023, Chairman Wontumi expressed his conviction that Ghana’s current state surpasses that of London, United Kingdom.

He justified this claim by pointing to the impressive infrastructural developments taking place in key areas such as Cantonments, Labadi, and East Legon.\
Wontumi, known for his outspoken demeanor, shared his personal experience of using the Labone, Cantonments, and East Legon stretch during his recent visit to Accra.
to him, the visible construction of different high-rise buildings and other infrastructural projects serves as tangible proof that Ghana is undergoing a positive transformation.
He enthusiastically remarked, “I came to Accra the last time, and you can see that Ghana is changing, and now I can say that Ghana is better than London because if you look at different story buildings that are under construction and all, it means that we are working in this country, the country is changing and it’s changing for good.”
Chairman Wontumi went on to encourage fellow Ghanaians to support the continuity of the current administration by rallying behind Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the next president.

He firmly believes that the growth and development experienced by the country since President Akufo-Addo assumed office should be sustained for the benefit of all citizens.
