Veteran Nollywood Actor, Zulu Adigwe Is Dead

Another sorrowful announcement shakes the Nigerian movie industry with the demise of one of Nigeria’s seasoned actors, Zulu Adigwe.

“Zulu Adigwe is Dead: The Enugu-born actor who first achieved fame as Mr. B in the sitcom Basi and Company passed away on Tuesday (April 23, 2024).”

The news of his passing was shared in an Instagram post by movie producer, Stanley Nwoko.

“’I regret to announce the passing of a veteran actor, late Mr. Zulu Adigwe. What caused his death is yet to be reviewed. Rest in peace good actor,’ Stanley wrote.”

Zulu Adigwe’s departure follows shortly after the loss of Junior Pope, leaving Nigerians and Nollywood fans worldwide in mourning.

“In just the first quarter of 2024, Nollywood has lost seven of its actors. They are Sisi Quadri, Mr. Ibu, Amaechi Muonagor, Andy Best, Jumoke Aderounmu, and Junior Pope, including Zulu Adigwe.”
