Davido, a famous Nigerian musician, is set to perform at the closing ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Tournament in Qatar, thrilling millions of fans around the world.

It has been confirmed that the Nigerian serial hit maker will be performing live by a Chinese businessman, Stephen Hung, who made the announcement via his Instagram story, expressing his delight at the prospect of watching him thrill the audience.

As many of you are already aware, Davido has been absent from social media and the public eye for some time now following the tragic incident that resulted in the death of his two-year-old first son, Ifeanyi Ideleke, who drowned.

This is great news for fans of the Nigerian star all over the world, as they will be able to see him perform again, this time in a larger venue like the World Cup for a larger audience.

According to the information we currently have, Davido will be the only Nigerian singer to play at this year’s World Cup event, after Buga crooner, Kizz Daniel, and Ckay, both Nigerian musicians who were scheduled to perform during the opening ceremony, were unable to perform.
