There have been new revelations regarding the actor Tyler Sanders’ passing.
According to an autopsy report from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner, the actor from the movie 9-1-1: Lone Star passed away due to fentanyl’s effects.
The investigation concluded that the death of the 18-year-old was unintentional.

Sanders passed away on June 16 at his home.
In light of this, his rep informed NBC News at the time that, “Tyler was a talented actor with a bright future, he comes from a wonderful family and we ask that you respect their privacy at this time.”

Sanders was well-known for his work as Leo on the Amazon series Just Add Magic and Just Add Magic: Mystery City, the latter of which led to his Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Principal Performance in a Children’s Program in 2021.
Sanders also made an appearance on an episode of the Fox firefighter drama earlier this year. Additionally, in 2017 and 2018, the actor appeared as a guest star on Fear the Walking Dead.
Jolie Hoang-Rappaport, Sanders’ co-star from Just Add Magic, posted a tribute to the actor on Instagram after learning of his passing.
She iterated in her post, which included photos of the two with the rest of the cast: “Tyler, it was a privilege to share Just Add Magic with you.
I‘m honestly gutted right now. Thank you for surprising me on my birthday with [co-star] Jenna [Qureshi]. I don’t think my dressing room had an inch left uncovered by balloons and decorations.”
The actress from Watchman continued,“Thank you for keeping a straight face during scenes when I could not. Thank you for playing foosball with me when we would do midnight shoots.
Thank you for always holding the door open for everyone nearby. Thank you for inspiring me and so many others with your decency, your discipline, and dedication to acting.
There’s so much more. But most importantly, thank you for being my step-brother. You will always be remembered. [Love] Zoe (Jolie),” she concluded.
