Oprah and Stars Warn of ‘End of Democracy’ If Trump Wins, Urge Voter Turnout

Oprah Winfrey issued a stark warning to voters at a rally in support of Vice President Kamala Harris on Monday night, telling the crowd that if Donald Trump wins a second term, it could be “the final election” for many Americans.

Speaking in Philadelphia, Winfrey emphasized the importance of showing up to vote, saying that failure to do so could result in citizens losing their right to cast a ballot forever.

“If we don’t show up tomorrow, it is entirely possible that we will not have the opportunity to ever cast a ballot again,” Winfrey warned.

“All the anxiety and the fear you’re feeling, you’re feeling that because you sense the danger,” she continued.

“And you change that with your vote. You are voting for healing over hate.”

Winfrey’s comments came as part of a star-studded event held at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, which saw performances and speeches from some of the biggest names in entertainment and politics.

Among the attendees were Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin, Will.i.am, and the musical group The Roots, who all rallied behind Harris in the final push before Election Day.

Lady Gaga took the stage to speak about the strength of women, saying, “Today, I am holding in my heart all the tough, tenacious women who made me who I am.”

She then urged Pennsylvanians to vote, calling it the state’s turn to make a difference. “The country is depending on you,” she added.

Rapper Fat Joe also addressed the crowd, speaking out against Trump and his allies for insulting Latino communities. “Where is your pride? When is enough enough?” he challenged.

He recalled Trump’s offensive remarks about Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, and Haitians, including the infamous incident when Trump threw paper towels at Puerto Ricans after Hurricane Maria.

Fat Joe’s emotional speech resonated deeply with the crowd as he reflected on the president’s actions and words that he called “out of control,” urging people to stand up for pride, unity, and respect.

With just days before the election, the rally highlighted the urgency felt by many voters who fear the consequences of another Trump presidency.
