The revelation set off a series of investigations initiated by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP), probing into the source of the minister’s wealth.

This led to a search of her residences, where authorities discovered $590,000 and Gh¢2.7 million at her Abelemkpe home.
Efia Odo, known for her candid social media presence, took to Twitter to share her perspective on the matter.

She criticized the sanitation minister for what she saw as a lack of attention to her appearance despite her access to substantial resources.

Specifically, Efia Odo pointed out the perceived quality of the minister’s wigs, humorously remarking that they were not up to standard.

In a tweet, Efia Odo playfully quipped, “Even with all that money, she couldn’t buy a decent wig. The wig is stiffer than wood.”

However, her commentary triggered a wave of backlash from numerous followers who perceived her remarks as superficial and dismissive of the seriousness of the underlying issue.
