When the 13th African Games came to an end on Saturday night at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Accra, Stonebwoy appeared on stage.

The games began on March 8 and ended with a ceremony on March 23, 2024.

The ceremony began with a march into the stadium by all of the attending delegations.

In attendance were senior government officials, the sports minister, and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

The major musical performer of the evening, Stonebwoy, had the crowd cheering and singing along to his classics for the most of the evening as he performed back-to-back.

Following weeks of intense competition on the field and on the tracks, his troupe of dancers, his onstage exuberance, and his flash of lightning all came together to provide the ultimate entertainment experience.

Shatta Wale, a fellow musician of Stonebwoy, was the featured act at the opening ceremony.

Team Ghana finished the African Games with an astounding 64 medals overall, good for sixth place in the medal standings.
