Gideon Boako, the vice president’s spokeswoman, expressed alarm about remarks and information in the media regarding the passing of John Ampontuah Kumah, the member of parliament for Ejisu.

As per the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer’s spokesperson, the deceased Deputy Minister for Finance did not pass away due to poisoning, in contrast to what is often believed.

“I’m glad the autopsy report was made available so quickly, even for the wife to provide a clear explanation to everyone.” He made these remarks during a panel discussion on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo morning show. “That should settle issues about poisoning; people should drop it because that is not the cause,” he said.
